I'm an assistant professor in the Department of Communication and the Faculty of Computing and Information Science at Cornell University. I also hold an appointment in the Knowledge Media Design Institute at the University of Toronto. My research aims to improve the usefullness and usability of communication and collaboration tools, with a particular focus on understanding and exploiting mechanisms of human attention.
